These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Charlie Studio website (charliestudio.eu) and the purchase of products from Charlie Studio. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms in full.

1. About Our Products

Charlie Studio designs and handcrafts loudspeaker systems — Django, Dizzy, and Mingus — in Warsaw, Poland. All products are made to order: each pair is built individually after your order is confirmed. No standard stock is held.

Because our products are manufactured to individual customer orders, they are subject to specific terms regarding cancellation, returns, payment, and shipping, as set out in the linked policies below.

2. Ordering

Orders are placed through charliestudio.eu or via direct contact at hello@charliestudio.eu. An order constitutes an offer to purchase a product subject to these Terms.

Charlie Studio reserves the right to decline any order at its discretion. An order is accepted and the contract formed only upon:

1. Submission of the completed order, and

2. Receipt and confirmation of payment (full payment for Django/Dizzy; deposit payment for Mingus).

3. Pricing

All prices are in EUR and are inclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are not included in the displayed product price and are confirmed separately before production begins. Charlie Studio reserves the right to adjust prices at any time; the price applicable to your order is that confirmed at the time of order acceptance.

4. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Django and Dizzy are paid in full at the time of ordering via Stripe Payment Link. Mingus uses a two-stage model (50% deposit, 50% before dispatch) via Stripe Deposit Invoice. Full details are in Ordering, Payment & Shipping.

5. Shipping and Delivery

All shipments are subject to the terms set out in Ordering, Payment & Shipping. Key points: estimated lead times are not guaranteed dates; shipping costs are confirmed prior to production start; all shipments are fully insured; customers are responsible for customs duties and import taxes outside the EU.

6. Returns, Refunds and Warranty

As all Charlie Studio products are made to order, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU does not apply (Article 16(c) exemption). Charlie Studio provides a minimum 2-year legal guarantee on all products in accordance with EU Directive 2019/771. Full details are in Returns, Refunds & Warranty.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on charliestudio.eu — including text, photographs, product designs, brand name, logo, and the model names Django, Dizzy, and Mingus — is the intellectual property of Charlie Studio and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or use our brand assets for commercial purposes without prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial sharing with attribution is welcomed.

8. Website Use

By using charliestudio.eu, you agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its infrastructure, or transmit any harmful or offensive content. Charlie Studio is not liable for temporary unavailability of the website due to maintenance or technical issues.

9. Cookies

The website uses functional cookies required for its operation and optional analytics/marketing cookies. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Charlie Studio's liability for any claim is limited to the value of the products purchased. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Polish law. For EU consumers, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the consumer's country of residence also apply where they provide greater protection.

Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably may be referred to the competent Polish courts or — for EU consumers — to the competent court of the consumer's country of residence.
