1. Made-to-Order — How It Works

Every Charlie Studio speaker is built individually to order in our Warsaw workshop in Poland. No stock is held in advance. Your order triggers a dedicated production process: we source materials, allocate workshop time, and build your speakers specifically for you.

All payments are processed securely via bank transfers or through Stripe (if the transfer option available during checkout in the shop). For Stripe payment mehtods: Charlie Studio does not store your card details — all payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe's encrypted and certified infrastructure.

2. Payment — By Product

Full Payment at Order

For all our products, the full order value is paid at the time of ordering. After submitting your order enquiry, you will receive further payment instructions, dependent on the chosen payment method at the checkout in the web shop.

Accepted Methods

· Bank transfer (SWIFT/IBAN)
· via Stripe with credit and debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay (if Stripe is available at the checkout)

Payment Process

Order submitted: Charlie Studio sends an invoice with payment instructions via Email (Within 24 hours)

Payment completed: Order Confirmation Email with estimated lead time and full order details (Within 24 hours after payment)

Speakers ready for shipping: Dispatch confirmed, tracking number sent (Per estimated lead time)

3. Cancellation Policy

Aplies for all our products, if cancellation is made:

Before production confirmed as started -> Full refund within 14 days

After production confirmed as started -> Partial refund at Charlie Studio's discretion; materials cost may be deducted

After dispatch -> No cancellation — see Returns & Warranty section

To cancel your order, contact us immediately at hello@charliestudio.eu with your order number.

4. Currencies and VAT

All prices are in EUR and are exclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs and customs are not included. Total product price are listed during ordering proces during checkout. Charlie Studio reserves the right to adjust prices at any time; the price applicable to your order is that confirmed at the time of order acceptance during checkout in the shop.

All invoices are issued in EUR. For B2B EU orders, reverse charge VAT may apply — provide your VAT number at checkout. No VAT is charged on orders outside the EU; local import duties may apply.

5. Lead Times

Production times are estimated from deposit (or full payment) receipt to dispatch:

Django: up to 8 weeks

Dizzy: up to 8 weeks

Mingus: up to 12 weeks

These are estimates and may vary. Your confirmed lead time is included in the Order Confirmation Email.
You will be informed about each mile stone during the production process of your product via Email.

6. Shipping Destinations

We ship to:

· European Union — all member states

· Switzerland — including Swiss customs documentation

· United Kingdom — post-Brexit import duties apply (see below)

· Other international destinations — contact us at hello@charliestudio.eu before ordering to confirm availability and total cost

7. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated individually based on destination, dimensions, and weight. The exact cost is confirmed in your order after completing the checkout at our web shop — you will not be charged without prior approval. Shipping is invoiced as part of the balance payment.

8. Packaging, Insurance and Tracking

Your speakers are packed in custom protective packaging designed for international transit. All shipments are fully insured for the declared value of the goods. A tracking number is sent by email at dispatch. We ship via DHL, UPS, or equivalent international carriers.

9. Customs, Duties and Import Taxes

For deliveries outside the EU (Switzerland, UK, and other international destinations), any customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. Charlie Studio will not be liable for delays caused by customs clearance. Please check your country's import regulations before placing an order.

10. Delivery Times After Dispatch

Please note that these are estimated delivery times after dispatch. Actual delivery windows may vary based on carrier policies and potential delays. The exact delivery date will be provided once your order has been shipped.

Poland / EU / Switzerland / UK: 3-7 business days

Rest of the World: 7–14 business days

11. Reporting Damage on Delivery

Always inspect your delivery carefully upon receipt. If the outer packaging appears damaged, you may either refuse the shipment or accept it and immediately fill out a damage report with the courier:

1. Document everything — photograph the outer packaging and the product both before and during unpacking. Video documentation is strongly encouraged.

2. Report the issue promptly: within 48 hours of delivery for visible external damage, or within 5 business days for concealed damage discovered after unpacking. We strongly recommend filling out the damage report with the courier at the time of delivery.

3. Email hello@charliestudio.eu with your order number, photos/videos, and a description of the damage and the copy of the damage report.

Charlie Studio will manage the claim process with the carrier on your behalf.
Please note that damage caused during a return shipment organized by the customer is not the responsibility of Charlie Studio and will not be managed by Charlie Studio (please see Returns Due to Customer Choice in Returns & Warranty).

12. Failed or Missed Delivery

If a delivery attempt fails, contact your carrier using the tracking number provided. If the package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or unclaimed delivery, re-shipping costs are charged to the customer.
